How Homeroom Law reviews and presents legal information
The checker is designed around traceability. Each substantive requirement belongs to a data record with a source label, source URL, authority type, and reviewed date.
Source policy
Official agency and statute sources are preferred. Secondary explainers can help identify practical context, but they should not be treated as final authority when an official source is available.
Review cadence
Every state and claim shows a reviewed date. When rules may change, the interface uses dated language and directs families to verify the current rule before acting.
Limits
Homeroom Law is informational only. It does not create an attorney-client relationship, submit filings, predict enforcement, or decide which pathway is legally best for a family.
